Internship Experience

I think interning at Hitech robotics brought about a drastic change in my learning style. My engineering projects had mostly been made using engineering intuition with enhancements on already implemented concepts. Sitting beside a researcher developing new industrial arm I realized that he had broken the big problem of developing an industrial arm into smaller manageable parts and he systematically researched each problem individually.

I learned that no project is complex, it just takes more time to tackle involved intricacies. With this new inspiration, I worked on a project of automating the Daimler truck engine where I developed a pneumatic system to change the two gear levers in less than three hundred milliseconds.I also worked on the motor selection for the stair climbing trolley.

While designing I also learned the importance of metrology and best practices for manufacturing.
